Teaching Groups

I recently joined a couple of Yahoo photography groups and I did this inorder to learn from my own pictures which get posted from to the group as well as the picture of others that get posted.

This is an example of how my favorite group, "Better Digital Photography" works.

A picture is posted by a group member; this one was posted by Karen.

Then the group moderator responds with comments, as do others, and a he usually does a "rework" of one or two of them.

MY favorite shots of yours are "Morning Fog" and "WaterLillies."

About them, however. Morning Fog needs the horizon made level. While not a hard and fast rule, generally people find a crooked horizon distracting. So I took your shot, rotated it 2 degrees clockwise, increased saturation by 50 percent (that's a lot) and darkened it 10 percent. Makes a big difference.
