My Pen Friend's Grandkids
This is a combination Photoshop, Scrapbook, Picasa project. These were scanned old pictures that were wallet sized to start.
Old School

I've been bad in posting lately and hopefully this will change in the next few days. I've been fighting the flu here and now the rest of my household is down with it so there have not been any new pictures and I still have not gotten my garden in.
I did sign up for an intoductory photography class, but since I tried to register 1 hour and 15 minutes into it the digital class was full and I was forced to sign up for the old school film photography class to satisfy the prereq's for all the classes I really want to take.
So, now I'm patiently waiting my new Nikon FM10 kit to arrive from B&H. I hope I can figure out how to put the film into the little ole thang.

I'm actually looking forward to learning about developing and dark rooms

Scanned, Shopped, & Scrapbooked
I recently discovered that you can do a lot with free backgrounds and object salvaged from the the scrapbooking community. I made this card from a scrapbook layout I got for free by joining Scrapbook Flair.

Garden 2009:pre-clean up
This was last years Herb Garden if you look close you can see the Chives are already coming in strong!

Bed 4 needs replaced this year; maybe it can be fixed.

Here are all five beds. It's amazing in just this small amount of raised garden I get moved veggies than my family can eat. I use the Square Foot Gardening System.

Mentor
I have been a huge fan of Scott Kelby's since I started playing around with pictures. I recently came across this post he made detailing his photography and studio gear and thought it would be a great thing to not only share but archive for myself somewhere I can find it always.

I love Scott because he is so willing to share his techniques and reveals all of his insider secrets.
